This 253 sq. ft. bathroom update is a good example of making a space seem larger while using the same square footage. The original bathroom boasted mid-nineties features like a bulky double vanity with a countertop-to-ceiling mirror and a framed in jet tub.

After Bathroom Update:
Freestanding Bathtub & Glass Shower Enclosure
The main requirement for opening up the bathroom space was to relocate the existing tub drain for the new freestanding bathtub. This allowed for the single shower to be expanded to a double shower enclosure with dual body-jets, dual hand-showers and a modern linear drain while the freestanding tub is aesthetically angled in the corner. The shower walls, bathroom walls and floors are wrapped in marble tile.
New Floating Double Vanity
The original double vanity was bulky and long. Replacing it with a shorter floating vanity freed up vertical space underneath and contributed to the extra shower space as well. The double vanity has a quartz countertop and a mosaic stone backsplash to the ceiling.
