The owners of this 2-story home in Cutler Bay contacted Rausa Builders Corp to replace their brown roof with a white shingle roof to match the new exterior color scheme of their home. They chose the Glacier White 3-tab shingle from the Tamko® Elite Glass-Seal® line of products. The new roof and exterior color scheme are an excellent choice to help reflect the hot South Florida Sun and keep the house cool.
A normal part of the roof replacement process (seen below) includes replacing rotted/damaged wood prior to installing the tin-cap and the new white shingle roof.
