The owners of this Pinecrest home decided to upgrade their existing flat cement tile roof to a new standing-seam galvalume metal roof. The 8,400 sq ft roofing project also included two complex shapes, an arch and a cone/conical roof. These unique roof features required precise custom cuts and bends for each 16 in. wide 24 ga. galvalume metal panel during installation.
The homeowners chose their panels in Slate Gray, a light and reflective color, perfect for a large roof exposed to the South Florida sun.
Below are before and after photos of the roof with side-by-side comparisons of the previous concrete tile roof and the new standing seam galvalume metal roof.
