The gallery below shows the process of removing a shingle roof and replacing it with Galvalume Standing Seam Metal Roof. This roof is located in West Miami, the color chosen by the homeowner was bronze.
After the old shingle roof was removed, all rotted decking/sheathing was replaced. Unique to the metal roof installation process is the use of VersaShield, which acts as a fire barrier and insulation. Once the VersaShield is installed, the standard 30 Felt Roofing Paper with Tin-Cap is next, followed by the installation of the Englert 24 GA Galvalume Standing Seam Metal Roof.
