This garage conversion required lifting the new floor to the same level as the existing main floor. The elevated floor facilitated the relocation of plumbing & electrical conduits for the bathroom and laundry. The existing opening for the garage door was sealed with cement blocks and an impact window was installed.
The conversion was done from start to finish, including installation of framing/partitions, drywall, windows, doors, vanity, plumbing & electrical fixtures. Interior wood flooring was installed to match the existing flooring of the home. The new bathroom also had an exterior impact door installed for access to the side of the residence.
