The early 70’s bathroom in this Kendall home was overdue for a complete remodel. We completed the new bathroom remodel with new porcelain floor tile, a mosaic tile wall, modern cabinets & vanity.
Rausa Builders Corp. recently completed the open kitchen design in Kendall. Opening up the kitchen required knocking down an interior wall and relocating an interior door. These modifications helped amplify the space, giving the new kitchen an open & inviting feel. Removing the interior wall allowed for installation of the Kitchen Counter Peninsula.
The Shaker style kitchen cabinets were complimented with a White Quartz Countertop and Stainless Steel Appliances.
This homeowner in Miami’s Kendall neighborhood contacted Rausa Builders for their roof replacement needs. Their shingle & flat roofs were both old, weathered and well overdue for replacement. The tongue & groove in the rear patio roof had termite damage and was also completely replaced.
The old roof was a 3-Tab Shingle Roof and was replaced with a GAF Timberline HD Birchwood Architectural Shingle. Architectural shingles add more dimension to your roof than a standard 3-tab shingle at a slightly higher cost.
The gallery below shows the roof replacement process from start to finish:
Below is a gallery showing the flat roof tile installation process at a Westchester residence in Miami-Dade. The roof tile installed was supplied by Eagle Roofing Products and it is their Bel Air Floridian Blend.
This 6,300 sq ft tile roof had several repair jobs by the homeowners to extend the life of their roof. They contacted us for a complete roof replacement and chose to go with a flat cement roof tile instead of the existing double roll cement roof tile. The gallery below shows a satellite rendering of the roof facets along with before and after photos of the completed roof replacement.
This roof job consisted of removing the old gravel roof and replacing it with 2200 sq ft of a Flat Roof with minor decking repairs.
Below are photos of a 3400 sq ft Architectural Shingle Roof we just completed in the Kendall Area. The home had an atrium in the center with an opening all the way through the roof that the homeowner wanted sealed off with future plans of adding the area as living space below. Once the atrium was sealed, the pool was covered with plastic to keep any roofing debris from landing inside and we began to remove the old shingle roof.
There was minor decking and fascia damage that need to be replaced prior to 30 Felt and Tin Cap being installed. Finally the new architectural shingle was installed giving the new roof a nice texture over it’s large planes.
This modern u-shaped kitchen remodel in Kendall, Florida is part of a complete interior remodel we are currently finalizing. The complete interior remodel was split into 2 phases in order to allow the homeowners to reside in one half of the house while the other half was under construction.
The kitchen features Espresso Omega Shaker Cabinets around the kitchen perimeter with White Quartz Counter Top and mosaic glass backsplash. The perimeter cabinets also have 4 accent cabinets with aluminum doors and clear glass to match the stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, wall oven and microwave.
The island at the kitchen center is made of Blue Omega Shaker Cabinets with a beautiful Azul Bahia Granite Counter Top (Blue Granite).

The gallery below shows the process of removing a shingle roof and replacing it with Galvalume Standing Seam Metal Roof. This roof is located in West Miami, the color chosen by the homeowner was bronze.
After the old shingle roof was removed, all rotted decking/sheathing was replaced. Unique to the metal roof installation process is the use of VersaShield, which acts as a fire barrier and insulation. Once the VersaShield is installed, the standard 30 Felt Roofing Paper with Tin-Cap is next, followed by the installation of the Englert 24 GA Galvalume Standing Seam Metal Roof.
